Eventic provides event-management and ticketing services to organizations (“Organizers”) and individuals (“Attendees”).

  • When you use Eventic as an Organizer, we are the Data Controller for your account and related personal data.
  • When you register for an event hosted by an Organizer using Eventic, the Organizer is the Data Controller for your registration details, and Eventic acts as a Data Processor on their behalf.


2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, profile photo.
  • Event Information: Event details, ticketing setup, attendee lists.
  • Payment Information: Billing address, limited card details (processed by Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
  • Support Requests: Messages, files, or communications sent to our team.

b. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, access times.
  • Log Data: Pages viewed, features used, error logs, crash reports.
  • Cookies & Tracking: Session cookies, analytics cookies, and functional cookies.

c. Information from Third Parties

  • Organizers: Attendee details uploaded or provided for events.
  • Integrations: Data from Stripe, Firebase Authentication, Apple/Google login, or other third-party tools.


3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract necessity – to provide event registration, ticketing, and payments.
  • Legitimate interests – improving security, preventing fraud, and enhancing our services.
  • Consent – for marketing communications or optional features.
  • Legal obligations – when required by law or regulation.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver the Eventic Platform and its features.
  • Process payments securely.
  • Enable ticket registration, check-in, and membership management.
  • Send confirmations, receipts, and event updates.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Improve our services and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.


5. How We Share Your Information

We never sell your personal information. We share data only when necessary:

  • Organizers: When you buy a ticket, your data is shared with the event organizer.
  • Payment Processors: Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or equivalent providers.
  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Firebase, AWS), email delivery (AWS SES), analytics tools.
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or restructuring.

6. Apple Pay & Payment Processing

Eventic supports payments through third-party providers, including Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • When you use Apple Pay, your card details are not stored or processed by Eventic. Instead, Apple Pay handles the transaction securely in accordance with Apple’s privacy and security policies.
  • Eventic only receives limited information necessary to confirm your payment (such as transaction ID, billing details, and ticket purchase confirmation).
  • All payment processors we integrate with, including Apple Pay and Stripe, are PCI-DSS compliant and meet industry standards for secure transactions.
  • Refunds and chargebacks are managed directly by the event Organizer in line with their refund policy. Eventic is not responsible for issuing refunds or resolving disputes between Attendees and Organizers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as needed to:

  • Provide Eventic services
  • Fulfill legal obligations, or
  • Resolve disputes.
  • Organizers may retain attendee data independently, under their own policies.

8. Security Measures

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
  • AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
  • Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication.
  • Regular security audits, penetration testing, and incident response protocols.
  • Data minimization and “least privilege” principles for staff access.

Despite these safeguards, no online system is 100% secure.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries. For EU/EEA users, we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or
  • Other approved safeguards, to ensure lawful cross-border data transfers.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Correct or update inaccuracies.
